Our History
The Academy was founded as a ministry of the Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee in the fall of 1971. Since its establishment over thirty-eight years ago, the Academy has continued to serve families throughout this area by providing a quality Christian education for students in preschool through 12th grade.
God has marvelously blessed the Academy and its students throughout the years. Our graduates have furthered their education in such institutions as the Air Force Academy, the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, Bob Jones University, and Crown College, just to name a few.
Our students have enjoyed a wonderful heritage, and we are trusting God to lead us to an even greater future.
