*One year of Bible is required for each year a student is enrolled in Temple Home School.

**Both credits must be earned in the same foreign language.

Elective courses must be approved for credit.  Students may receive a maximum of ½ credit for health, ½ credit for physical education, and 1 credit for home economics (sewing, cooking, etc.) or specific vocational instruction.  Students may receive ½ credit for driver’s education if administered by a certified instructor.  Students may receive ¼ credit per semester for music lessons (minimum of 2½ hours of instruction or practice per week).    Appropriate documentation is required.

A student must carry a minimum of four full credits each year.  A student may earn a maximum of eight credits per year.  Any student who plans to complete all graduation requirements in less than four years must give written notification and submit an approved IEP no later than the beginning of the sophomore year.  A high school diploma will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of 22 units of study, fulfillment of all financial obligations, and the submission of official ACT results.

 †1 credit = 150 hours of instruction; ½ credit = 75 hours of instruction; ¼ credit = 45 hours of instruction.
